Since February 2004, a lot of effort has been put into improving our kitchen facilities and employing the best staff to provide quality food. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises and cooked to order (no ‘boil in the bag’ or ‘microwave from frozen’ here!). Our three chefs and three cooks make every effort to deliver the finest food at affordable prices.

We generally run with fixed menus for both winter and summer with a ‘Specials Board’ that varies on a daily basis. There is also a separate children’s menu. On special occasions such as the Christmas period, Valentines night, Mother’s Day etc, we provide special, set price menus.

We also cater for private parties and have a range of buffet options.

Beer wise; on draft we offer five different cask ales, one smooth flow bitter, a mild, two premium lagers, two other lagers and two ciders. As well as providing a wide range of bottled beers, ciders and alcopops, we also have a comprehensive wine list and a wide range of soft drinks, tea and coffee available.
